After choosing the lion-tailed macaque as inspiration, in-depth research was conducted on its characteristics, behaviors, and habitat, along with sketches to capture its form and better understand its physical attributes.

The macaque’s strong sense of community inspired the concept for Maca Bean. Its distinctive features and exotic habitat sparked the vision for a bohemian coffee house that fosters creativity, connection, and a love for nature, shaping the core identity of Maca Bean.

It gets its name from its lion-like mane framing its dark face and the tuft of fur at the end of its tail.

Known for its playful and leisurely behaviors in its natural habitat.

They live in tight-knit, matriarchal groups, typically comprising 10 to 20 individuals.
